Broilers grow very rapidly, and in a short period. So when you take action, don’t think in days but in hours or even less. The slightest interruption can disrupt the finely balanced process. Result: growth stagnates, and birds get sick and die. As a poultry keeper, there’s little more you can do once something has already gone wrong. So it’s all the more important to prevent problems or, at the very least, to react quickly to signals of them.
